So after a crazy few months with other commitments, I am finally back to doing what I love most, which is making new quilts! These little lovelies arrived today, and I can’t wait to get cutting. I wasn’t sure about the colours when I first picked them out, but now they are here and I’ve put them all together, I LOVE them… lot!
Some terribly exciting news… Quilty Pleasures is colaborating with the very talented Victoria Goddard from Petit Art to bring you a range of beautiful customised “Family Portrait” cushions. Pictures have been blatently nicked from her page because I had to show you how gorgeous they are!
So what do you all think??
I will be the first to admit – I am no photographer… I leave that up to my lovely friend and QP preferred photographer Mrs Ruby Roux – so you’ll have to excuse my slightly amaturish shots. I did however want to share with you some of the bits I had on sale at the weekend.
PS. Some of these cushions are still for sale if anyone is interested!
Hello all my Worthing friends
Just a little reminder if you are free on Saturday 12th May, the Fabulous Barties Boutique is on in Worthing, and I’ll be there in all my quilty loveliness.
It’s the most beautiful venue in Worthing, has a great coffee shop, and there is definately something for everyone on offer, from a very talented bunch of local people.
Come along and show your support if you can.
I thought I’d try my hand at another market after I had such a great time at Brighton Craftaganza a few weeks back.
This time I will be selling my quilty wares at Barties Boutique in Worthing, on Saturday 12th May, in the very beautiful St Pauls Church. This amazing venue is the perfect spot for a craft market, with its amazing architecture, on site coffee shop selling gorgeous coffees, teas, cakes and other yummy items.
Please try and pop along and support local makers!
Happy Friday everyone,
Hello lovely QP followers!
It’s been a few months since my last giveaway, so it thought it was high time for another one! This time I’ll be giving away one of these personalised A5 notebooks! (Unfortunately you are limited to 6 letters due to the size of the book).
In order to get your name in the hat for this super giveaway, all you need to do is get a new friend to “like” our facebook page, and leave a message on Facebook below this post, telling me who you recommended! Simples :-)
Closing date for entries is 30th April 2012.
Good luck everyone!
I realised I’d been a bit behind in uploading images of what I’ve been working on over the last 12 months or so… there have been quite a few quilts, but here are some I particularly enjoyed making.
